BATON ROUGE - The Mikie's, a talent and awards show hosted by the LSU's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, is set for Tuesday, April 17 at 6 p.m. inside the Cox Communications Athletic Center for Student-Athletes' Bo Campbell Auditorium.

The event allows LSU's student-athletes to showcase their talents in dances, skits and songs. In between acts, awards similar to ESPY'S that are voted on by student-athletes will be handed out for the 2011-2012 season.

Tickets are $5 and donations will be accepted. All proceeds and donations will go to Best Buddies, a non-profit organization that creates opportunities for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
