Update: Round 3 delayed until 9 a.m. CT by overnight storms.

LUBBOCK, Texas – LSU senior Caroline Nistrup posted a 4-over par round of 76 Tuesday in the second round of the NCAA Lubbock Regional women's golf event at The Rawls Course at Texas Tech.

Nistrup is at 4-over 36 holes after rounds of 72-76 (148) and is in a group at T22 heading into Wednesday's final round. She is still the best of the six individual entrants in the tournament.

The Denmark golfer was only able to get one birdie in the second round on the par 3 10th hole.

In regard to qualifying for the NCAA Championships later this month, Nistrup needs to be among the top three golfers not on the six qualifying teams for the event. With UCLA and Kent State tied for sixth place in the team competition and both with two golfers in the top 22, it appears that 11 golfers, including Nistrup, are in the running for the three spots going into Wednesday's round.

Monica Vaughn of Arizona State, the team leader, is the individual competition leader at 5-under par 139 (71-68).

Nistrup will go off again at 8:50 a.m. on Wednesday from the No. 1 tee. Follow updates on golfstatresults.com and NCAA.com along with the Golfstat app.
