2018 LSWA Second Team
JUNIOR SEASON (2019)
Played and started all 60 games this season at first base... She had a .288 batting average… Had 51 hits on 177 at-bats and scored 33 runs for the Tigers… Collected 38 RBI and hit eight home runs with a .486 slugging percentage… Went one-for-one on stolen base attempts… Recorded a .995 fielding percentage and led the team with 364 putouts… Hit two consecutive home runs, her first two of the season, against CSUN (Feb. 23)… Against Mississippi State on April 6th she hit her sixth home run over left center and a double to collect two RBI, and tallied 10 total putouts… In the Tigers’ victory over the Razorbacks, she homered to left center collecting her seventh home run on the year… Hit her eighth homer on the year in the second game against Texas Tech in the Baton Rouge Regional to help the Tigers tie up the game… Had a team leading 28 putouts in the regional and four hits on 14 total at-bats.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2018)
During her sophomore season Doyle was the premier first baseman in all 62 games for LSU ... she was the driving force for the Tiger offense with a .328 batting average with a .387 on base percentage and a .528 slugging percentage ... she also lead the team with 15 doubles, eight home runs, and 51 RBI ... had 19 multi-hit and 14 multi-RBI games ... stole one base on the year ... recorded a .991 fielding percentage and led the team with 427 putouts ... against La Tech on February 16th Doyle went three for four in a nine inning game with two RBI including the walk-off hit through the left side of the infield claiming victory for the Tigers ... on March 10th in the first SEC series for the Tigers Doyle in the bottom of the seventh inning smashed a hit to left field scoring the winning run against the number 10 team in the country ... in the bottom of the eighth inning against the nationally ranked Baylor Bears on March 24th, Doyle hit a bomb over the field fence scoring two RBI claiming another walk-off victory for the Tigers ... during the legendary 19 inning game against Ole Miss on April 6th she set an LSU record with 26 putouts, and also drove in the game winning run with a blooper single right over the shortstops head ... on May 4th against the Razorbacks Doyle blasted a ball in the bottom of the seventh inning over the right field fence ending the game with her fifth walk-off hit of the season ... was an NFCA All-South Region Third Team selection.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2017)
Played in a total of 62 of LSU's 70 games, starting 60 of them ... Recorded 42 hits, 14 of which were for extra bases on her way to a .236 batting average ... Recorded 26 RBI on the season ... Scored 13 total runs ... Hit four homeruns ... Recorded 12 multi-hit games and 6 multi-RBI games ... Hit an astonishing .571 during the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in February ... Went 3-3 against Long Beach State driving in 2 runs and scoring another three with a double and a homerun ... She followed that performance with a 2-4 outing against 6th ranked UCLA with two solo shot homeruns ... Doyle hit a homerun against South Alabama on her way to a 2-3, three RBI showing ... Posted a .987 fielding percentage, which ranked second on the team amongst everyday starters ... Hit .307 during the team's run to the SEC Tournament Championship Game.
Was a four-year player at Canyon High School out of California under coach Kristan Hinze… Was a three-time Santa Clarita Valley first team selection… Led her team with a .400 batting average, driving in 26 with six home runs, owning a .449 on-base percentage and .775 slugging mark… The infielder has been a two-time team most valuable player award winner, top defensive player award winner and a two-time Foothill League selection.
Full name is Amanda Lynn Doyle, born November 29 in Valencia, California… Daughter of Judson and Shari Doyle… Has one sibling, Kaelie… Plans to major in business.
