BATON ROUGE –The LSU softball team goes into postseason ranked No. 10 in the USA Today/NFCA Division I Coaches Poll and No. 13 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll.

LSU has been ranked every week since the end of the 2014 season. The Tigers earned a total of 494 points in the NFCA poll. In the ESPN/USA Softball poll, the Tigers picked up 264 points.

The Tigers begin postseason this weekend, hosting the Baton Rouge Regional Friday through Sunday. The Tigers square up with Monmouth on Friday at 4:30 p.m. at Tiger Park.
