Softball Stays at No. 8 in National Polls

BATON ROUGE – Following a sweep of Auburn, the LSU softball team continues to rank eighth in both the NFCA and USA Softball polls released Tuesday.

The Tigers, who are 22-2 on the year, earned 587 total points in the poll from the coaches, while earning 367 points in the USA Softball rankings. LSU has been ranked every week since the end of the 2014 season.

LSU is back in action Tuesday, taking on Western Kentucky. The Tigers will be on the road this weekend, traveling to No. 24/23 Kentucky Saturday through Monday.
