BATON ROUGE -- Former LSU softball All-American Trena Peel of the National Pro Fastpitch League’s Philadelphia Force is scheduled to play in Major League Baseball’s Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game as part of the festivities that surround the All-Star Game in St. Louis.

Peel, a 2002 NFCA Second Team All-American with the Tigers, join fellow NPF players Kristen Butler, Samantha Findlay and Megan Gibson that will compete in the game Sunday at Busch Stadium along with former baseball legends and celebrities.

The contest is slated to be aired Monday at 9 p.m. on ESPN after the State Farm Home Run Derby.
