Talented pitching plagued by injuries during his career ... pitched on a limited basis in 2007 and 2006 after receiving a medical redshirt in 2005 (Tommy John surgery on right elbow) ... pitched as a true freshman for LSU’s 2004 College World Series team.

JUNIOR SEASON (2007)
Made five relief appearances from Feb. 10 through March 2 ... worked 1.1 shutout innings at Stetson (Feb. 16) with one strikeout ... longest outing was two innings vs. Central Florida (Feb. 25), as he allowed one run on one hit with one walk and no strikeouts.

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE SEASON (2006)
Appeared in 12 games (five starts), posting a 2-1 mark and a 4.40 ERA in 30.2 innings with 13 walks and 26 strikeouts ... enjoyed his best outing of the season with a career-high 5.2 innings pitched in a 3-2 win over Southern (4/4); did not receive a decision but gave up one run on four hits while walking none with a career-high five strikeouts ... fired 4.2 shutout innings vs. Northwestern State (4/11), limiting the Demons to four hits with one walk and four Ks ... captured his first win since May 19, 2004 with 3.2 scoreless innings of relief vs. Houston (3/5); allowed four hits and fanned two.

Appeared in 14 games (three starts), posting a 4.46 ERA in 34.1 innings with 22 walks and 31 strikeouts ... worked the final inning of LSU’s College World Series game versus South Carolina (June 21), retiring the Gamecocks in order while recording two strikeouts ... earned first collegiate victory on Feb. 17 versus UL-Monroe; working five innings as a starter, he limited the Indians to one run on four hits with three walks and three Ks ... defeated Southeastern Louisiana (May 19) as the starter (eight-inning game), allowing two runs on six hits in 4.2 innings with two walks and two strikeouts ... also posted relief wins at Centenary (March 23) and at New Orleans (March 30).
