2008 SEC Academic Honor Roll
Outstanding offensive line prospect who will battle P.J. Lonergan for the starting spot at center in 2009 ... Has played the center position in organized football since the age of 9 ... Had progress slowed due to a knee injury suffered against South Carolina in October of 2008 ... Was held to limited contact during spring practice but still got plenty of snaps with the offense during the 15 spring workouts ... Expected to be at full strength for fall camp ... Used him time away from football last year to sharpen his football knowledge ... Has all of the tools necessary to be successful at the game – competitive, tough, knowledge, and quickness ... His father, Bobby Hebert, was the starting quarterback for the New Orleans Saints in the 80’s and early 90’s before finishing his career with the Atlanta Falcons.
