FRESHMAN SEASON (2009)
A dominant defensive lineman in high school who has already worked his way into the two-deep as a true freshman, backing up Al Woods at left defensive tackle ... Played in 10 games with no starts ... Set a new career high with four tackles, including 0.5 tackles for a loss, against Auburn ... Recorded 0.5 tackles for a loss and one total tackle versus Florida ... Made his first appearance as a Tiger at Washington and made his first solo tackle which was for a three-yard loss.
HIGH SCHOOL
A dominating defensive lineman who earned the right to compete in the Under Armour High School All-America Game following his senior season ... Member of the ESPNU 150 as well as being a SuperPrep All-America in 2008 ... Helped lead Bastrop High School to the Class 4A semifinals after finishing the season with 25 tackles and five sacks in 2008 ... His performance earned him first-team all-state honors as a senior ... Anchored a Bastrop defense that held opponents to 10.4 points per game en route to a perfect 15-0 record and Class 4A state championship as a junior in 2007 ...
