Was pressed into duty in the first half against Ohio State when starter Craig Steltz went down with a stinger ... Coleman responded by recording two tackles, recovering a fumble and having a QB hurry in the LSU victory ... Big play against Ohio State came when he picked up a fumble and returned it 14 yards early in the fourth quarter ... Named to ESPN’s All-Bowl Team for his effort in the win over the Buckeyes ... REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2006)
Played in all 13 games, contributing primarily on special teams ... A standout in that capacity as he ranked among team leaders with 12 special teams tackles in 2006 ... Named LSU’s Special Teams Player of the Week in wins over Louisiana-Lafayette and Mississippi State ... Had two special teams tackles vs. Louisiana-Lafayette and added five special teams tackles against Mississippi State.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2005)
Did not see any action in 2005 ... After originally signing with the school in 2004, joined the Tigers for the spring semester in 2005 ... Sat out the fall of 2004 ... Enrolled in school in January of 2005 and went through spring drills with the Tigers.
