REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2009)
Played in 11 games with one start ... In a rotation at defensive end for the Tigers ... Started in place of Rahim Alem at right defensive end against Louisiana Tech and responded with three tackles, two tackles for loss and one sack in the win over the Bulldogs ... Had a half sack for a 1-yard loss against Arkansas ... Other sack came against Vanderbilt and it went for a 9-yard loss ... Also forced a fumble against Vanderbilt ... Set a career high with five tackles against top-ranked Florida, including one solo ... Saw his first action as a Tiger at Washington where he made one solo tackle.
