LSU Adds Two Out-of-State Radio Affiliates

BATON ROUGE - Radio stations in Cookeville, Tenn., and Mobile, Ala., have joined the LSU Sports Radio Network and will begin carrying LSU games starting with Saturday's contest against Washington.

The addition of WABB-AM (1480 AM) in Mobile, Ala., and WATX-FM/AM in Cookeville, Tenn., (100.9 FM/1600 AM) bring the number of affiliates on the LSU Sports Radio Network to 29, which includes Sirius/XM Satellite Radio and a pair of Hispanic affiliates (KDDK-FM 105.5 in Baton Rouge and KGLA-AM 1540 AM in New Orleans).

The two Hispanic affiliates will carry LSU's eight home games this year marking the first time in school history that the Tigers' entire home football schedule will be broadcast in Spanish.

The LSU Sports Radio Network, which spans six states, is anchored by the flagship station - Eagle 98.1 FM in Baton Rouge. The LSU Sports Radio Network also features WWL (870 AM) in New Orleans and KWKH (1130 AM) in Shreveport.
