BATON ROUGE -- The LSU women’s basketball team plays host to Alabama in its Southeastern Conference home opener at 2 p.m. CST Sunday and the contest will feature a Mike’s Kids Club event at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
The Disney movie “Wall-E” will be played in its entirety on the videoboard screens following LSU head coach Van Chancellor’s postgame radio interview. The best seating sections for viewing will be 204-205 and 218-219.
The showing will be preceded by postgame performances from the Tiger Girls and the LSU cheerleaders of the routines they will be performing at nationals in Orlando, Fla. The Tiger Girls will have two dances and the cheerleaders will perform one routine.
