BATON ROUGE, La. - The LSU women's tennis team (7-6; 0-3 SEC) will continue its weekend on the road and take on the No. 6 University of Alabama (11-1; 3-0 SEC) Sunday at 1 p.m. CT at the Alabama Tennis Complex.

"There were a lot of positives from our match against Auburn," head coach Julia S. Sell said. "We just have to continue to get better with each match we play. It will be a fun match with the men playing at the same time, so we're going to enjoy it and work hard."

LSU kicked off its weekend by facing a 7-0 loss at Auburn. Every singles competition battled through tight first sets, and the Mary Jeremiah and Ariel Morton pair continued its success in doubles. The duo tied its court one match 5-5 against Auburn's No. 56-ranked pair before the doubles point was clinched on courts two and three.

The Lady Tigers hold a 28-12 overall record against the Crimson Tide.
