BATON ROUGE -- Eleven men's swimmers from the LSU Swimming and Diving program attended the Our Lady of the Lake Hospital this past weekend.

Swimmers Timmy Dasinger, Ricardo Alvarado Jimenez, Michael Saco, Frank Greeff, Tyler Jusselin, Gabe Rooker, Colin Finnegan, Grant Grenfell, Andrew Muller, Samuel Jardine and Matthew Schaefer went from room to room to cheer up kids.

The athletes brought signed LSU Swimming and Diving posters so that the kids could hang them up in their rooms.

"I always try to go to the hospital visits with the team," Dasinger, a member of last season's SEC Community Service Team, said. "Seeing the kids smile can really brighten your week. It cheers them up, and in return we get the warm feeling in our stomachs."

The entire LSU Swimming and Diving program will travel to Auburn, Ala. to take on Auburn on Oct. 20 at 1 p.m. For more information on the program, please visit LSUsports.net, 'like' LSU Swimming and Diving on Facebook or follow @LSUSwimDive on Twitter.
