Took a second-place finish against Georgia in the 100 breast with a mark of 56.28 ... At the Texas A&M Invite, finished third in the final of the 100 breast and fourth in the 200 breast ... Talented freshman breaststroker who showed off his skills at the Southeastern Conference Championships and the NCAA Championships … Competed in the 400 medley relay and the 800 freestyle relay at the NCAA Championships … Raced on LSU’s program record 400 medley relay (3:10.42) at the SEC Championships … Named to the SEC All-Freshman Team after finishing as the highest ranked freshman in the 100 breaststroke at the SEC Championships … Posted LSU’s fourth best all-time 100 breast of 53.85 in a 12th place swim at SEC’s … Notched the Tigers’ seventh best all-time 200 breast of 1:58.53 in prelims and finished the race in 15th with a time of 1:58.76 … Ranked second on the team in the 100 breast and in the 200 breast after an impressive rookie season … Earned silver in the 200 breast (2:01.47) and bronze in the 100 breast (55.60) at the Phil Hansel Invite … Raced to sixth in the 200 individual medley (1:53.06) at the midseason meet …Snagged his first conference win in the 100 breast (55.73) in a victory over Alabama after standing out in the 100 breast (56.22) in his first meet against Auburn … Swept the breast events with marks of 56.96 in the 100 breast and 2:04.40 in the 200 breast in a win over Kentucky … Delivered a win in the 100 breast (55.76) and a second place finish in the 200 breast (2:02.86) in a 161-139 road win over SMU … Finished second in the 200 breast (2:01.70) in a dual with Texas A&M … Earned his first varsity letter.
