Lady Tigers Pair Begins European Ladies Amateur

ESTONIA – Caroline Nistrup of Denmark and the LSU women’s golf team birdied the fifth and sixth holes and posted 16 pars to shoot an opening round of 2-under par 70 in the International European Ladies' Amateur Championship at the Estonia Golf and Country Club.

Nistrup is in a group tied for sixth place after the first round, three strokes off the tournament lead. Nistrup birdied the par 3 fifth and the par 5 sixth and posted pars on every other hole in the round.

Nadine Dreher of Austria also is taking part in the tournament and posted a first round of 3-over 75 and is tied for 67th after the opening round of the 72-hole event.
