CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - LSU women's golf signee Carly Ray Goldstein finished 2012 and started 2013 on a good none as she finished second in the prestigious Dixie Women's Amateur at ClubLink's Heron Bay Golf Club.

Goldstein, who lives in the area and will be a freshman at LSU in the fall of 2013, posted a strong 72-hole total of 6-under par 282 with rounds of 72-67-68-75.

The only golfer to best her to take the title was University of Florida senior Isabelle Lendl who posted a 66 on the final day and finished at 10-under par 278.

Goldstein, who has won some 96 tournaments in her career, has also appeared in 2012 in SI's Faces in the Crowd after signing with LSU and saluting her winning the state high school title.
