Gahm in Position for Top-10 at Liz Murphey

ATHENS, Ga. - Lindsay Gahm posted an even par round of 72 in the second round Saturday of the Liz Murphey NCAA Fall Preview and is in position for a top 10 finish in the three-day event which concludes on Sunday.

Gahm, whose best finish a year ago was a tie for 17th, posted a two birdie-two bogey round to post a 72 to go with Friday's 73 to stand at 1-over 145 after 36 holes. Gahm is tied for 10th in the individual competition that is led entering the final round by Marta Sanz of Auburn at 4-under 140 (71-69).

Gahm is a junior from Louisville, Ky.

Madelene Sagstrom and Nadine Dreher both posted 2-over 74s on the day. For the two days, Sagstrom, the sophomore from Sweden, is at 3-over 147 (73-74) and is in a group tied for 22nd.

The Lady Tigers improved their team score from the first day by five shots, going from 305 to 300 and stands at 605 and 17th place after two rounds. Auburn is the leader at 4-over 580 (287-293), five shots clear of Alabama at 9-over 585 (296-289).
