Golfer Nistrup Finishes Ninth in Estonia

ESTONIA – LSU women’s golf sophomore Caroline Nistrup put a second no-bogey round together to shoot 3-under 69 to close out the 2014 European Women’s Amateur Championship with a top-10 finish.

Nistrup, representing Denmark, posted a three-birdie round with 15 pars to shoot 69 and finish the 72 hole event at even par 288 (70-74-75-69). Nistrup moved up 19 spots in the final standings with her final round from a tie for 28th to a tie for ninth place, 10 shots behind the eventual winner.

Nistrup posted 59 pars over the 72-hole event; second most in the field that played over the Estonia Golf and Country Club. Summer Gear
