RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. - The good play of LSU sophomore women's golfer Austin Ernst continued Saturday at the Kraft Nabisco LPGA Championship as she followed Friday's 2-under 70 with a bogey free round of 4-under 68 to move inside the top 30 entering Sunday's final round.

Ernst, the defending NCAA champion, fired 68 to put Ernst in red numbers after 54 holes at 1-under 215 (77-70-68). Ernst, who was 103rd after the opening round on Thursday, is now tied for 29th place in the first LPGA major of the season. The Seneca, S.C., native is the only collegiate amateur in this year's event.

The final round will be televised on The Golf Channel.
