The Tigers are coming off their first victory of the 2012-13 season at the Shoal Creek Intercollegiate held Sept. 24-25 as they fired an even-par 864 at Shoal Creek Country Club in Birmingham, Ala.
Leading the Tigers to the victory were sophomore standouts Stewart Jolly and Curtis Thompson after they tied for medalist honors while winning their first collegiate tournament titles with matching career-lows at 6-under par 210. It also marked the first top-10 finish of their collegiate careers.
After playing host to the David Toms Intercollegiate this weekend, the Tigers wrap up the fall season with a trip to Isleworth Golf & Country Club in Windermere, Fla., to compete in one of the premier events this season at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational being held Oct. 21-23.
