BATON ROUGE - The LSU softball team will have its 30-game radio package broadcasted on Country Legends 104.9 FM in Baton Rouge during the 2013 season as announced Tuesday by LSU Sports Properties. It marks the second straight season that the Tigers will be carried on the station.
The first broadcast of the 30-game package is set for Wednesday versus Nicholls State and also features LSU's remaining 21 SEC contests. The network also will carry every LSU softball postseason game from the SEC and NCAA Tournaments.
Patrick Wright returns as the play-by-play voice of the Tigers for his 17th season. Kent Lowe also is back for his 17th season as the color analyst for selected home games, while Matt Dunaway joins Wright for his fifth season on the air primarily handling road games.
All network broadcasts begin 15 minutes prior to first pitch with the "On Deck Show" presented by Woman's Hospital, and all broadcasts also are available for Geaux Zone subscribers at www.LSUsports.net/live.
