BATON ROUGE - Season ticket deposits and renewals for the 2013 LSU softball season are now being accepted online at www.LSUtix.net.

Current season ticket holders can log onto their account and have until Friday, December 21 to renew. Fans interested in purchasing new season tickets can place a $25 deposit toward the purchase of a season ticket online at www.LSUtix.net.

Single game tickets will go on-sale at a later date. LSU students, faculty and staff are admitted free to softball games at Tiger Park with a valid LSU ID.

The 2013 home schedule features 29 home contests highlighted by 15 games versus programs that qualified for last season's NCAA Tournament. The Tigers play host to three-game SEC series with defending national champion Alabama, NCAA Super Regional participant Missouri and NCAA qualifier Kentucky. LSU also welcomes a quartet of NCAA participants in Georgia Southern, North Carolina, North Dakota State and Tulsa during non-conference action to Tiger Park.

The Tigers sold a program-record 634 season tickets and surpassed the 30,000 mark in total attendance for the first time in program history during the 2012 season. LSU has averaged over 1,150 fans per game in each of its first four seasons since moving to Tiger Park at its current location on Skip Bertman Drive.

LSU brings back 12 letterwinners highlighted by NFCA All-America First-Team hurler Rachele Fico and All-SEC Freshman pick A.J. Andrews. The Tigers also will welcome six newcomers into the fold sparked by Bianka Bell and Ashley Czechner. Bell is the reigning Florida Gatorade Player of the Year, while Czechner pitched Chattanooga State to the 2012 NJCAA National Championship.

LSU opens the 2013 season and plays host to the Tiger Classic from February 8-10. The Tigers will welcome Hampton, North Carolina, Purdue and Tulsa as part of the three-day tournament at Tiger Park.
