Mack was selected as the No. 1 overall pick by the USSSA Florida Pride during the National Pro Fastpitch Draft on March 7 ... The Pride was led by LSU head coach Beth Torina during the 2012 season ... Mack created and championed the "Geaux Play" program prior to the 2012 season after being named one of 30 finalists for the prestigious Lowe's Senior Class Award ... Through her relationship with the Miracle League Association at Cypress Mounds, Mack challenged the LSU softball fans to share the gift of sports with special needs children ... Fans donated over 400 items of new or gently used sports equipment at LSU softball home games during the 2012 season ... Three of her six complete games were shutouts ... Won eight of her last nine decisions (Feb. 24-April 30), including a 4-0 mark in SEC action ...
