Played the 2012 season as a part-time starting outfielder for the Tigers ... a two-sport standout in high school who played both football (running back) and baseball (centerfielder) for two seasons at Northwestern University of the Big 10 ... played baseball in 2011 at Cypress (Calif.) College.

JUNIOR SEASON (2012)
Played in 46 games (34 starts), batting .203 (27-for-133) with three doubles, four triples, 12 RBI, 27 runs and four stolen bases ... helped lead LSU to a perfect 5-0 record during the week of April 10-15, batting .444 (8-for-18) with one double, five RBI, five runs scored, two stolen bases and a .476 on-base percentage ... batted .500 (6-for-12) in LSU's three-game sweep of Alabama (April 13-15) with one double, three RBI, three runs and a .636 on-base percentage.
