Became LSU's first three-time First Team All-American on bars, and she is the only Tiger to earn three First Team honors (Annie Gagnon earned three All-America honors on bars but two were Second Team) ... Ended her career with an outstanding 9.9250 bars score to finish as the national runner up at the NCAA Individual Event Finals, becoming the first LSU gymnast to finish second nationally on bars ... Earned her third First Team All-America honor on bars with a 9.90 in the NCAA Championship Prelims (4/22) ... Finished the season ranked 16th nationally on bars with a 9.885 regional qualifying score ... Picked up five individual titles during the season, tied for second most on the team ... JUNIOR SEASON (2009)
Earned First Team All-America honors for the second straight years on bars with a 9.875 at the NCAA Championship Prelims (4/16) ... Excelled for the Tigers on bars, beam and floor and competed in all three events every meet ... Finished the season ranked No. 25 nationally on beam with a 9.870 RQS ... Set a career high with a 9.90 on beam, earning the score three times ... Tallied a career-high 9.875 on floor four meets in a row in the middle of the season ... Had arguably her best meet as a Tiger at Centenary (3/13) when she posted 9.90's on bars and beam and a 9.875 on floor ... Earned five individual titles - one on bars and four on beam ... Earned All-America honors on the bars at the NCAA Championship Prelims ... A major contributor to the Tigers' success on the bars ... Made her season debut on the bars against Kentucky (2/1 - 9.850) after missing the first four meets of the year due to a back injury ... Won a share of the bars event title against Kentucky (2/1) and Michigan State (2/29) ... Notched a career-high on the bars against Michigan State with a 9.950 (2/29) ... Scored a 9.875 on the bars against Florida (2/15), taking home the event title ... Made her season debut on the floor against Centenary (3/2), posting a career-high 9.850 ... Posted a career-high on the beam at North Carolina State with a 9.800 (3/14) ... Notched a respectable 9.800 on the bars at the SEC Championships (3/29) ... Scored an impressive 9.925 on the bars at the NCAA Central Regional (4/12) ... Tallied a 9.925 on the bars in the preliminary round of the NCAA Championships (4/24) ... FRESHMAN SEASON (2007)
A standout on the bars, she competed on the event in every meet for the Tigers as a freshman ... Won three meet titles on the bars ... Picked up her first win at Iowa (9.850) ... Earned her others against Arkansas (9.875) and Centenary (9.900) ... Finished second on the event at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships after scoring a career-high tying 9.900 ... Posted a 9.875 at the SEC Championships (3/31) ... Finished the year with a 9.778 average on the bars, the second highest on the team ... Also saw limited action on the beam and floor ... Recorded top marks of 9.750 on both events.
Trained at Tampa Bay Turners under coaches Brad Harris, Amy Shultess and Heather Breasbo ... Qualified to the 2006 Level 10 Junior Olympic Nationals, where she placed second on the bars, third on the beam, seventh on the floor and sixth in the all-around in the Senior C section ... Won the 2006 regional titles on the bars, beam, floor and in the all-around ... Attended St. Petersburg High School where she also competed in diving and cheerleading.
