BATON ROUGE – The Department of Residential Life held its annual LSU Move-In Day on the LSU campus on Wednesday as students prepare for the start of the 2014 fall semester next week, and members of the soccer team were at Kirby Smith dormitory to welcome students and lend a helping hand as they moved into their dorm rooms.

Not only did 20 players take part in the annual LSU Move-In Day, but head coach Brian Lee and assistant coach Kevin Dempsey were at Kirby Smith to welcome students to campus.

Students are welcome to attend LSU’s season-opening match at the LSU Soccer Stadium on Friday night as the Tigers welcome the Troy Trojans to Baton Rouge with kickoff set for 7:05 p.m. CT. It will be Root Beer Float Night at the LSU Soccer Stadium as the first 250 fans attending the match will receive a free root beer float served in an LSU Soccer mug.
