Two Women's Basketball Home Games Left in 2013
BATON ROUGE - Only two chances remain to see the 2012-13 LSU Lady Tigers this regular season beginning with a huge match-up against the eighth-ranked Kentucky Wildcats at 2 p.m. CT Sunday in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
The game will not be televised. Fans can purchase tickets to the LSU-UK game at www.LSUtix.net, in person on the first floor of the Athletic Administration Building or by phone at (225) 578-2184. On gameday, tickets go on sale at the Maravich Center box office at 1 p.m.
All East Baton Rouge Parish elementary and middle school students are invited out to an afternoon of Lady Tiger basketball action through a printed flyer for every student to take home for $1 ticket.
The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free LSU drinking glass. There will be an entertaining halftime show featuring AcroDunk, who was recently on the show "America's Got Talent."
Kentucky will be the highest ranked team that LSU has faced in the Maravich Center this season. The Wildcats are coming off a big win over Texas A&M on Monday night. The Lady Tigers upset Kentucky last season on two occasions.
LSU travels to face Missouri at 8 p.m. CT Thursday before returning home to host Kentucky. The Lady Tigers are 15-10 overall and 6-6 in SEC play as they aim for an NCAA Tournament berth.
