Lady Tigers Announce Promotions Schedule

BATON ROUGE - Several exciting promotions and giveaways will be featured throughout the 2012-13 LSU women's basketball home season beginning with Sunday's 2 p.m. season-opener against Wichita State where the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free LSU basketball mini hoop.

Promotions Schedule

New this season, doors to the Maravich Center will open exactly one hour prior to tipoff for all games. The Lady Tigers open year two of the Nikki Caldwell era on Sunday. Doors to the PMAC will open at 1 p.m. There will be an autograph session following the game.

Individual general admission tickets cost $6 for adults and $3 for youth, ages 3-12. LSU students are admitted free to games with a valid LSU ID. Tickets can be purchased at www.LSUtix.net. On gameday, tickets go on sale one hour prior to tipoff on the upper ramps of the Maravich Center.

When LSU hosts North Carolina State on Dec. 2, it will be "Dads and Daughters" day at the Maravich Center. For more information visit www.lsusports.net/dadsanddaughters. The first 500 fans in attendance for that contest receive a free deck of Lady Tiger basketball playing cards.

LSU's rivalry game against Tulane on Dec. 9 will feature a giveaway to the first 500 fans a set of 2012-13 LSU Lady Tiger trading cards.

On Sunday, Jan. 13, all East Baton Rouge Parish elementary and middle school students are invited to the Maravich Center when the Lady Tigers host Mississippi State. Students can enter for $1 through a printed flyer that will be distributed at East Baton Rouge Parish schools.

LSU welcomes Texas A&M to the PMAC for ESPN2 "Big Monday" on Feb. 4 in what will be the annual "Gold Game." All fans are encouraged to wear gold to support the Lady Tigers in a game that will tipoff to a national television audience at 8 p.m. CT. That will also be a student priority point game for LSU students.

Six days later, Georgia comes to Baton Rouge for the annual "Pink Game" as LSU will continue to recognize breast cancer awareness. All fans are encouraged to wear pink to join in the cause. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive free Lady Tiger pink t-shirts.

LSU will honor seniors Adrienne Webb and Bianca Lutley on "Senior Night" against Alabama on Feb. 28. It will also be an LSU student priority point night.
