BATON ROUGE – The LSU women’s basketball program has six of its former standouts which include Seimone Augustus, Sylvia Fowles, Allison Hightower, Temeka Johnson, Shanece McKinney and Theresa Plaisance on WNBA rosters for the 2014 season.

McKinney was signed as a free agent by the New York Liberty on May 28. LSU’s six WNBA players is the second-highest total among SEC schools only behind Tennessee who has eight players in the league.
