BATON ROUGE - Fans attending Thursday's LSU women's basketball game versus East Tennessee State at 7 p.m. are urged to bring canned goods to the Maravich Center in support of the Lady Tigers' holiday food drive with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.

Any fan who brings one canned good can enter the game with a special $2 ticket that will be redeemable at the Maravich Center ticket office on gameday. There will be six barrels set up around entrances at the Maravich Center on Thursday. Doors to the arena open at 6 p.m. with tipoff set for 7 p.m.

The Lady Tigers have supported the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank for several seasons. Last year, the team twice went to the food bank and spent several hours organizing the food for those in need during the holiday season. The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank then named the LSU women's basketball team its organization of the month in January 2012.

In addition, two pairs of Chick-fil-A Bowl tickets will be given away at halftime on Thursday. There will be a social media Twitter contest to determine the winner during the first half of the LSU-East Tennessee State game.
