Bowl Tickets, Cash Giveaway at Thursday Hoops Game

BATON ROUGE - A pair of LSU football bowl game tickets to two lucky fans and two cash prizes to LSU students of $250 are just part of the promotions planned for Thursday night's important SEC-BIG EAST Challenge basketball matchup between the undefeated LSU men's basketball team and 5-1 Seton Hall at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

The contest is the fourth and final game of the first day of the Challenge and will tip at just after 8:30 p.m. The game will be nationally televised on ESPNU. Tickets are available at the LSU Athletics Ticket Office, online at and on game night beginning one hour prior to tip at the upper concourse ticket windows of the Maravich Assembly Center.

Full-time LSU students get in free to all men's basketball games with a valid LSU ID.

Two lucky fans will each win a pair of tickets to the upcoming LSU Football Bowl game, while there will be a $250 cash giveaway at halftime to two lucky students attending the game. Also the first 500 students who come through the gate and have their ID scanned will receive a free order of nachos from Tiger Concessions.

This will be the final LSU home game before a break for the semester Final Exam period. LSU will next play on Dec. 11 against Chattanooga.
