BATON ROUGE - The Southeastern Conference Friday announced the selection of the 14 coaches on their preseason All-SEC team and LSU sophomore forward Johnny O'Bryant III was named to the second team in the squad of 16 players divided into two eight-team groups.

JOB III, who played in 28 games a year ago with 17 starts, comes into tonight's 7 p.m. contest with UC Santa Barbara at the Maravich Center, having averaged 8.5 points and 5.7 rebounds a year ago. He had 12 games in double figures with two double doubles. He scored a season high of 21 points against Northwestern in the Charleston Classic.

Ten different schools are represented on the ninth annual selection by the coaches with Tennessee having three selections while Arkansas, Florida and Kentucky have two selections each. In all, 36 different players received votes for the coaches' teams.

The coaches' preseason All-SEC first and second teams consist of a minimum of eight players on each squad, voted on by the SEC Head Men's Basketball Coaches. No ties were broken and no predicted order of finish was made.
