Led LSU to an 18-2 overall record as the starting quarterback ? His .900 winning percentage (18-2) mark is the best winning percentage for a quarterback in school history ? Finished career with 3,831 passing yards ? Completed 310 of 529 passes for 37 touchdowns and only 18 interceptions ? Rushed for 345 yards and 5 touchdowns ? Ranked third in school history in TD passes (37) and completion percentage (58.6), sixth in pass completion (310), seventh in attempts (529) and eighth in passing yards (3,831) ? JUNIOR SEASON (2003)
Player that combines excellence on the field and in the classroom ? Named Second-Team Academic All-America this year, while also being named Second-Team All- EC ? Put together one of the finest seasons for a quarterback in school history, throwing for an LSU record 28 touchdowns and 2,825 yards in leading the Tigers to a school- record 13 wins and the school's first national title in football since 1958 ? Led the SEC in pass efficiency by connecting on 229 of 358 passes for 2,825 yards, 28 TDs and only 14 interceptions ? Threw at least one TD pass in all but two games for the Tigers in 2003 ? Opened the season as LSU's starting quarterback and guided the Tigers to a 5-1 overall mark and a top 15 national ranking before suffering a season-ending injury in fourth quarter of win over Florida ? Tore ligaments in mid-foot area on right foot ? Had two screws placed in the foot to stabilize the joint ? Has since had the screws removed ? Prior to injury, completed 63 of 130 passes for 782 yards, nine TDs and only two interceptions ? Rushed for 175 yards and a pair of TDs as well ? Finished season with a streak of 88 straight passes without an interception ? Threw for a season-best 215 yards on 15 of 26 passing in win over Miami (Ohio) ? Tossed three TD passes in victories over Miami (Ohio) and Louisiana-Lafayette.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2001)
Came off the bench for an injured Rohan Davey and led the Tigers to a 31-20 win over Tennessee in the SEC Championship game ... Rushed for 43 yards and 2 TDs, including the go-ahead score early in the fourth quarter in win over the Vols ... Completed 5-of-15 passes for 67 yards ... Saw action in three games after redshirting as a true freshman in 2000 ... Came in for an injured Davey vs. Florida and hit on 11-of-22 passes for 132 yards and 2 interceptions ... Also played vs. Kentucky ? 2-of-4 for 25 yards ... Joined Tigers in 2000 after playing baseball in the Chicago Cubs organization for 3 years.
