NEW ORLEANS -- LSU went through its final on-field preparation for Monday’s BCS National Championship Game against Ohio State with a walk-through here at the Louisiana Superdome on Sunday afternoon.

Kickoff for the LSU-Ohio State contest is scheduled for 7:22 p.m. in a sold out Superdome. The game will be televised nationally by FOX.

Sunday also had the two head coaches conducting their final press conference before the teams meet on Monday night. LSU coach Les Miles spent 30 minutes with the media at a formal BCS Head Coaches Press Conference at the Marriott Convention Center.

Miles then joined Ohio State coach Jim Tressel for pictures with the crystal BCS National Championship Trophy. Tressel followed Miles with his 30-minute press conference.

Later on Sunday, Miles and the Tigers went through a series of team and position meetings before heading to the Louisiana Superdome for the team picture and the walk-through.

After walk-through the Tigers were welcomed back to the New Orleans Marriott by thousands of Tiger fans, many of which were lined along Canal Street. The team was scheduled to have dinner at 7:30 p.m. followed by their weekly Friday ritual the watching of an agreed upon movie by the Unity Council. Friday night’s selection was “300”, which was viewed in the team room at the Marriott.
