BATON ROUGE -- The current leaders in the Southeastern Conference Western Division will square off at 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS, as the SEC announced its Oct. 23 network television schedule on Monday morning.

CBS Sports will televise the LSU at Auburn game at 2:30 p.m. CT (3:30 p.m. ET). In this week's polls, LSU is ranked 9th in the Associated Press, USA Today and Harris Interactive polls while Auburn is ranked 7th in all three polls. LSU is 6-0 overall and 4-0 in the SEC while Auburn is 6-0 and 3-0 in the SEC.
LSU hosts McNeese State this Saturday at 6 p.m. CT on FSN while Auburn hosts Arkansas on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. on CBS Sports.
LSU holds the series lead against Auburn, 24-19-1 and has won the past three meetings against Auburn. It is the first time this series has been on CBS since 2006, when No. 3 Auburn won a 7-3 decision over No. 6 LSU at Auburn. The game features the top two teams in the SEC in rushing defense - LSU (1st - 80.7 ypg) Auburn (2nd-95.7 ypg).
