BATON ROUGE – Deondre Clark became LSU’s 23rd and final football signee on Monday as the defensive end formally signed his national letter of intent with the Tigers.
Clark comes to LSU after a stellar high school career at Douglass High School in Oklahoma City. Clark rushed for nearly 1,700 yards and 22 touchdowns on offense, while adding 22 sacks on defense during his senior season. He finished his prep career with 61 sacks and listed as one of the top defensive ends in the nation.
“Deondre is a very athletic and versatile player who was a standout on both sides of the ball in high school,” LSU coach Les Miles said. “We are thrilled to have him join this class. He fills a need for us at defensive end. He’ll be able to come in and compete for playing time right away.”
