BATON ROUGE -- Coming off a 38-17 defeat at the hands of top-ranked Alabama on Saturday, the LSU football team dropped to No. 18 in the AP Top 25 and the USA Today Coaches Poll released Sunday.

LSU (7-3, 3-3 SEC) has an open date on Nov. 16 before returning home to face No. 10 Texas A&M. Kickoff time and network television for the contest are expected to be announced by the SEC on Monday.
