RB Jeremy Hill

On Alabama …
“They stick to what they know, and they stick to what they do for 60 minutes. It puts a lot of stress on the other teams. If you let it get a hold of you, then you’ll start seeing them put up a lot of points, and then you’re not scoring any points. I think you just have to stick with your game plan and stick with your mentality that you have at the beginning of the game for 60 minutes. I think Alabama does a great job with that, and they put a lot of pressure on you. I think that’s what’s giving them the record that they have this season. They’ll continue to do that against us, so I’m sure they’re going to have their game planned. We’re going to go in there with the mentality that our coaches give us this week and just stick to it.”

On carrying the ball during the game against Alabama …
“That’s how the game feels, and I’m more than willing to do that and the other running backs are willing to do that. If I go down and Odell (Beckham Jr.) will take that role over and will continue to do that. Every game is different. The Ole Miss game, we had to pass the ball and the Georgia game we had to mix it up. It just depends on the game, and it’s the style and flow of the game, but I’m more than willing to do any role they have for me.”

WR Jarvis Landry

On competing against Alabama …
“(Alabama) does a lot of great things well, but we also do a lot of great things well. It just comes down to individual guys making plays. That’s what this game is going to be about.”

On preparations on defense …
“Coach (Corey) Raymond does a great job of setting (Tre’Davious White and Rashard Robinson) up and teaching them fundamentals and techniques. I think not only does it give us a chance to get better, but also gives those guys a chance to work on their techniques against receivers.”

DT Ego Ferguson

On competing against Alabama …
“This is like an Ali and Foreman fight. This is the game that every time you play these teams, you give your best shot. We’re ready for this game. Every time we play Alabama, it feels like this intensity level that you don’t see in any other game. We’re taking this game really seriously and just trying to tendencies on them and trying to get my best performance of the year right here.”

On Alabama’s talent …
“I feel like they have a great scheme, and they have a great coach over there in Nick Saban. They have a great game plan. They hit the zone running and play the stop action off of that, and it looks the same. So you have to read the blocks off that and just play technique.”
