BATON ROUGE -- Following a narrow defeat to No. 1 Alabama in front of a record crowd at Tiger Stadium, the LSU football team moved down two spots to No. 7 in the Bowl Championship standings released Sunday night.

LSU (7-2, 3-2 SEC) was No. 9 in the Associated Press Top 25 and the USA Today Coaches' Poll, and No. 8 the Harris Interactive Poll that was released earlier.

In addition to the rankings, LSU learned that ESPN will televise its Nov. 10 Homecoming matchup against No. 22 Mississippi State with a 6 p.m. CST kickoff.

Kickoff time and network television for LSU's Nov. 17 home finale against Ole Miss is expected to be announced on Monday morning.
