BATON ROUGE - LSU students will get to take advantage of two special opportunities this week leading up to the start of the National L-Club Spring Game sponsored by Tony Chachere's on Saturday in Tiger Stadium.
On Thursday, LSU students will get a chance to see practice up close, as anyone with an LSU ID card will be admitted to Charles McClendon Practice Facility beginning at 4 p.m. LSU students will get to watch practice from 4 to 6 followed by a meet and greet with players and coaches in the indoor facility.
On Saturday, the LSU athletic department will host a tailgate in Lot A for LSU students prior to the start of the spring football game. The tailgate for LSU students runs from 11 a.m. to noon and features free food and drinks along with video games.
The gates to Tiger Stadium open at 11 a.m. on Saturday with the SEC Championship Celebration starting at 12:30 p.m. followed by kickoff for the spring game.
For Thursday's practice, LSU students should park in the lot in front of the LSU soccer stadium and enter the practice facility through gates located on the northwest corner of the complex, which is the corner located closest to the vet school.
