BATON ROUGE – A special $20 package to see four LSU women’s basketball home games this holiday season is now on sale at www.LSUtix.net.
The $20 holiday package includes a 200-level reserved seat to the following four games: Jackson State (Dec. 30), Texas A&M (Jan. 9), Florida (Jan. 12) and Auburn (Jan. 23).
In addition to www.LSUtix.net, the package can be purchased in person at the LSU Athletic Ticket Office on the first floor of the Moran Family Center for Athletic Administration Building or by calling (800) 960-8587 or (225) 578-2184.
The Lady Tigers are off to a 7-1 start this season – their best start since 2009 – and ranked No. 13 in the latest Associated Press poll. Head coach Nikki Caldwell’s squad features an exciting up-tempo pace that has produced 75.4 points per game and five consecutive wins, including the Barclays Invitational title in New York last weekend.
LSU has made the Maravich Center one of the toughest places to play in Caldwell’s tenure. The Lady Tigers have won nine straight home games dating back to last February and are 19-3 under Caldwell’s watch in the past two seasons in the PMAC. LSU features three seniors and freshman star Raigyne Moncrief, who is leading the squad with 14.5 points per game.
The Texas A&M contest on Jan. 9, which is part of the package, is LSU’s Southeastern Conference home opener and annual gold game. This spring, the Lady Tigers will host the NCAA Tournament first and second rounds on March 23 and 25. All-session ticket books for the NCAA Tournament are also on sale at www.LSUtix.net for only $17 until Dec. 31.
