Basketball Ticket Mini-Plans on Sale Now

BATON ROUGE - Mini-ticket plans for the 2012-13 LSU men's and women's basketball season are now on sale at

There are two options for men's tickets. The "Pick 3 Plan" allows a fan to choose any three home games for $39, while the "Pick 5 Plan" allows a fan to select any five home games for $60.

The "3-Point Play" allows a fan to choose either the Tennessee or Texas A&M women's games in early February and any other two home women's games during the season for only $20. The "SEC 4-Game Package" features any four SEC home women's games for $24.

In addition to, tickets can be purchased in person at the LSU Athletic Ticket Office on the first floor of the Athletic Administration Building or by calling (225) 578-2184.

Non-conference individual game tickets for both teams go on sale on Monday, Nov. 5. Southeastern Conference individual game tickets go on sale on Dec. 10.

Johnny Jones enters his first season as head coach of the Tigers, returning to his alma mater where he was a member of two NCAA Final Fours. LSU returns three starters, including sophomore guard Anthony Hickey and sophomore forward Johnny O'Bryant III.

Women's head coach Nikki Caldwell welcomes the return of six letterwinners from a squad that reached the NCAA Tournament second round and the SEC Tournament championship game in 2012. Senior guard Adrienne Webb and junior guard Jeanne Kenney will lead the Lady Tigers.

Both teams will play free, non-ticketed exhibition games. The women host Xavier of Louisiana on Thursday, Nov. 1 and North Alabama on Tuesday, Nov. 6. Both contests feature 7 p.m. tipoffs in the Maravich Center.

The men's team hosts Arkansas-Monticello on Monday, Nov. 5 in its only exhibition game.

The Lady Tigers officially begin the season at home against Wichita State on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. The Jones era for the Tigers officially gets underway against UC-Santa Barbara at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9. Both of those games are ticketed events.
