BATON ROUGE -- The No. 27 LSU men’s tennis team (1-2) returns to action to host a doubleheader featuring North Florida and Liberty on Saturday at W.T. “Dub” Robinson Stadium.

The first serve is scheduled for noon against North Florida. LSU's match against Liberty is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.

“We are excited for a home weekend with challenging opponents coming to town,” said LSU head coach Jeff Brown. “North Florida pushed No. 12 Florida and Georgia Tech to the end a few weeks ago and just beat South Alabama on the road. Liberty has a ranked doubles team at the top of their line up as well. This will be a tough test for our team.”

North Florida and Liberty are not listed in the team or singles rankings, but Liberty has the No. 26 doubles team in Shea Thomas and Jorge Azuero. LSU junior Chris Simpson is still ranked at No. 72 in singles, and Simpson and sophomore Boris Arias are ranked No. 60 in doubles. Sophomore Tam Trinh and freshman Eric Perez are the No. 46 doubles team.

Due to multiple events on campus, fans planning on attending this weekend’s matches should park in lot 105 behind the tennis stadium near the natatorium.  Fans can access this lot from West Chimes street and must mention that they are attending the tennis match. Free pizza will be served at every match this season.

Following the double header on Saturday, the Tigers will host a double header on Sunday featuring Southern Miss and Jackson St.

For up-to-date information and behind the scenes access on the Tigers during this weekends matches, fans can follow the LSU men's team on Twitter and Instagram @lsutennis and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/lsutennis.
