BATON ROUGE, La. – The LSU men’s tennis team ranked fourth in the ITA’s attendance rankings for March and eighth in the overall season average attendance category for 2014.

In March alone, the Tigers hosted 1,953 fans in six matches. LSU’s attendance average for the season was 279 fans per match. The Tigers also ranked seventh in March’s attendance average rankings, which was also 279 fans per match during the month.

“Our fans have been great,” said LSU head coach Jeff Brown. “They have been behind our team for years, and although we have had ups and downs with this young team, they supported our fight. We are excited to reward our fans with all of the new amenities our new facility will have for their enjoyment and convenience.”

LSU returns to action on Saturday, March 12 for its final regular season SEC match. The Tigers will travel to Fayetteville to take on the Razorbacks at Billingsley Tennis Center at 1 p.m. CT.
