Beach Ranked No. 8 For Third Straight Week

BATON ROUGE – The LSU beach volleyball team closed out its regular season over the weekend, going 3-1 at the Battle on the Bayou, and has been ranked No. 8 in the AVCA and DiG Magazine polls for the third-consecutive week, announced Monday.

This is the 18th-straight week that LSU has been ranked in the top-10 of the AVCA poll, dating back to last season. The Tigers finished 22-10 on the regular season and have won 15 of their last 16 matches.

LSU will begin postseason play this Friday when it heads to Emerson, Georgia to compete in the CCSA Tournament at the LakePoint Sports Complex. The Tigers received the No. 4 seed for the tournament and will begin pool play on Friday.
