Football Trio Practicing For Saturday's Senior Bowl

BATON ROUGE – Three former LSU standouts – offensive tackle Vadal Alexander, linebacker Deion Jones, and defensive back Jalen Mills - will play their final collegiate football game on Saturday when the Senior Bowl takes place in Mobile, Ala.

Kickoff for the Senior Bowl is set for 1:30 p.m. CT Saturday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium and will be televised on the NFL Network.

LSU's All-Star Game Appearances

All three Tigers will play for the South Squad, which is coached by Jacksonville Jaguars staff. Jones is wearing No. 0 this week, while Mills is wearing No. 28 and Alexander No. 74.

LSU has had 121 former players take part in the Senior Bowl, which has been considered the premier college football all-star game since its inception in 1950. All three Tigers reported to Mobile on Sunday and have spent all week practicing in front of numerous NFL general managers, coaches and scouts.

Following the Senior Bowl, the Tiger trio will take part in the NFL Combine from Feb. 23-29 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis followed by LSU’s Pro Timing Day on March 14.

The NFL Draft is scheduled for April 28-30 in Chicago.
