TULSA, Okla. - The LSU Lady Tigers tennis team (7-4, 2-2 SEC) travels to the University of Tulsa (10-3) on Wednesday for a non-conference matchup at The Michael D. Case Tennis Center with first serve set for noon CT.

"We are playing pretty well as a team right now," LSU head coach Tony Minnis said. "Tulsa has been a good team this season. They have been ranked inside the top-20 so we are excited for the opportunity we have to face them."

Whitney Wolf and Keri Frankenberger have led the way for LSU of late in doubles as the veteran team has won seven of its last 10 matches.

Olivia Howlett is 7-3 in her last ten matches, including a 3-1 record on court one. She played a pivotal role in the Lady Tigers most recent victory over Auburn on Sunday. The senior teamed with Yvette Vlaar before earning a straight-set victory on court one, in which she ran off the final six games of the match to win going away 6-2, 6-4.

Vlaar notched her 30th career match victory against Auburn, and she has only dropped three of her most recent 10 matches.

Frankenberger saved three match points on court five to clinch the Auburn match for LSU with a 4-6, 6-1, 6-3 victory.

LSU leads the all-time series with Tulsa 7-4, but the Lady Tigers dropped their last meeting 5-2 a season ago.
