Baton Rouge– LSU diver Juan Celaya-Hernandez will travel out of the country to take part in the FINA Diving World Series.

The first stop will be in Kazan, Russia, with competition running from May 10-12. Celaya-Hernandez will then head to London for the second leg of competition on May 17-19.

“This is Juan’s first experience in the FINA World Series and it is a tremendous opportunity for him,” said LSU head diving coach Doug Shaffer. “The FINA World Series is stacked with Olympians from around the world so it is a tremendous opportunity for Juan to compete against the world’s elite.”
